Hardline StormDOCK

5 Star Experience (10)

Floating vehicle protection for Extreme flooding

When severe weather is on the horizon, you can prepare your home and family, but your vehicles often remain the most vulnerable assets on the property. Floodwater and storm surge can enter a car within minutes, damaging electronics, interiors, drivetrains, and safety systems. In many real-world flood events, insurers and assessors frequently treat flooded vehicles as total losses, particularly when the water is deep or contaminated, or when saltwater exposure is involved.

Hardline StormDOCK is a purpose-built flotation platform system designed to keep vehicles above the floodline. If hurricane flooding is a credible threat and evacuation or relocation is not possible, StormDOCK gives you a fast, practical way to protect a car, truck, or supercar at your property.

What is StormDOCK?

StormDOCK is a drive-on flotation platform that is secured (tethered) to a sturdy structure such as a home, concrete column, pilings, or engineered anchors. When floodwaters rise, StormDOCK rises with them, keeping the vehicle elevated and stabilized.

StormDOCK is built as a model range so you can choose a platform sized and rated for your use case:

  • Supercars and luxury vehicles

  • Sedans and SUVs

  • Pickups and work trucks

  • EVs (battery weight accommodated through appropriate model selection)

  • Specialty vehicles and custom applications

Why flood protection matters for vehicles

Flood damage is not simply “wet carpet.” Modern vehicles contain complex electronics throughout the cabin and chassis. Once water enters, especially if it is brackish, contaminated, or saltwater from storm surge, corrosion and electrical damage can escalate rapidly. Consumer guidance commonly notes that flood-swamped vehicles are often treated as total losses.
Saltwater exposure is also widely recognized as a major compounding factor due to corrosion risk.

StormDOCK is designed to reduce this risk by keeping the vehicle out of the water entirely when deployed correctly.

How StormDOCK works

(simple, fast, repeatable)

1) Position
Move StormDOCK to a suitable location on your property where floodwater may rise, but where you still have safe access to load the vehicle.

2) Drive on
Drive the vehicle onto the platform and center it using the integrated positioning guidance (or optional wheel guides, depending on configuration).

3) Tie off
Secure StormDOCK using the tether points to a sturdy structure (home tie-off points, pilings, bollards, or engineered anchors). This step is critical: the tie-off system is what prevents drift and manages lateral movement as water rises.

4) Inflate
Inflate StormDOCK using the included inflation system (or your Hardline inflation solution) until it reaches operating pressure.

5) You are done
With the platform inflated and secured, StormDOCK is ready. If floodwaters rise, StormDOCK rises with them, maintaining vehicle elevation.

Key benefits of Hardline StormDOCK

Keeps vehicles above floodwater

StormDOCK is designed so the vehicle remains elevated as water rises, helping prevent water intrusion into doors, vents, electronics, and interiors.

Designed for hurricane scenarios

StormDOCK is intended for severe weather preparation where storm surge, flash flooding, and prolonged standing water can threaten residential properties.

Scalable model range

From supercars to heavy pickups, StormDOCK is offered in multiple sizes and load-rated models so you can match the platform to the vehicle mass and footprint.

Tie-off stability

StormDOCK is engineered around a core reality of flood events: it is not enough to float. You must also control position. The StormDOCK tether system is fundamental to stability and safety.

Faster than improvised methods

Common improvised approaches (jacks, blocks, cribbing) can be slow, inconsistent, and unsafe in wet conditions. StormDOCK is built for rapid deployment with repeatable steps.

Selecting the right StormDOCK model

StormDOCK can be configured by:

Vehicle weight class (sedan, SUV, pickup, heavy EV, specialty)

Vehicle footprint (wheelbase, track width, approach angle considerations)

Expected flood conditions (depth, debris, current, exposure to wave action)

Tie-off environment (house pilings, columns, seawalls, engineered anchors)

If you operate multiple vehicle types, a common approach is:

One supercar-optimized platform (lower profile, performance-vehicle geometry)

One truck-optimized platform (higher payload rating and larger footprint)

Use cases

Miami / coastal residential properties where storm surge and tidal flooding can push water into streets and driveways

Hurricane season preparedness for homeowners with high-value vehicles

Low-lying neighborhoods prone to flash flooding

Collectors and supercar owners protecting limited-edition vehicles

Commercial fleets that need to keep critical trucks and response vehicles operational after an event
